Private Lake Toxaway Access

Guest access may include canoe use, approved swimming and fishing access, and nearby boat and watersport rentals through Lake Toxaway Marine, subject to availability, safety conditions, and lake rules. Woodsong stays do not include Lake Toxaway Country Club access for non-members.

Guests are welcome to use the canoe which is conveniently stored at Lake Toxaway Marine. Canoe use is at the guest’s own risk. Guests may also rent boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and other lake equipment directly from Lake Toxaway Marine at their own expense, subject to marina availability, rules, and rental terms.

Lake Toxaway and Lake Cardinal are private lakes for Lake Toxaway Estates property owners and their guests, subject to LTCA rules. Renters/guests may rent boats at the marina at guest's own expense and risk, but cannot bring or place their own boats on the lake.

Guests may rent boats, kayaks, paddleboards, tubes, skis, wakeboards, kneeboards, and other lake equipment directly from Lake Toxaway Marine at their own expense and at their own risk, subject to availability, marina rules, lake rules, and rental terms.

Woodsong sits in Club Colony, just an easy ride from the Lake Toxaway Country Club area, Lake Toxaway Marine, and The Greystone Inn. Guests are close to the marina for canoe access and rentals, close to lakeside dining at The Greystone Inn, and near the center of the Lake Toxaway community — without being on a busy main road.

Lake Toxaway is a private residential lake shared by Lake Toxaway Estates property owners and their guests. Guests of Woodsong are asked to follow all LTCA, marina, and safe-boating rules; wear life jackets when using the canoe or rented equipment; supervise children at all times; respect docks and private shorelines; observe no-wake and safe-speed areas; and help keep the lake quiet, clean, and beautiful.

Guests interested in a guided lake cruise on "Miss Lucy," a 26-passenger mahogany electric replica of the boats used on the lake in the early 1900s, may inquire with The Greystone Inn about seasonal cruises on Lake Toxaway. Availability, access, pricing, and booking rules are set by The Greystone Inn and may vary by season.

Woodsong is minutes from the Lake Toxaway Country Club area. Woodsong stays do not include Lake Toxaway Country Club access for non-members. Club amenities are private and available only to members and their approved guests under Lake Toxaway Country Club policies.
